There are people in the world who take great delight at being offended. They spend much of their day tirelessly looking out for things to take issue over. To help these unfortunates in their efforts to be outraged the concept of Political Correctness was invented.

The rest of us (who possibly have things to worry about other than rewording nursery rhymes or getting traditional children's books banned from the library) can stand back and watch with a wry smile as the PC brigade struggle to rid the world of anything which could possibly offend anyone.

A colleague recently offered me a square or two from a perfectly named  bar of German chocolate;

The translation is 'Black Man's Chocolate'. Of course, what it means is 'Black Chocolate for Men' but it's much more satisfying to think of it in a slightly different way.

It would be great to see it on sale in British shops just to see how long it lasted before being stripped from the shelves.

It was very tasty, I wonder if the Germans do Weißer Herren Schokolade.
